Prior to joining AXA IM, he was Co-Head of the Global Innovation Team at Liontrust Asset Management, co-managing the Liontrust Global Technology, Global Innovation and Global Dividend funds. Prior to that he worked as a researcher in the oil and gas sector, an actuarial analyst, and spent 12 years at Neptune Investment Management including serving as Chief Investment Officer. He has also researched and taught the history of innovation at the London School of Economics and Political Science. James holds a PhD in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and an MA in Economics from the University of Edinburgh.

Previously, he was a senior portfolio manager at Close Investments (formerly Reabourne Technology), a subsidiary of Close Brothers Group PLC, from 2003 to 2007,having been a portfolio manager for the previous three years and an assistant portfolio manager from 1997 to 2000 with Reabourne Technology.During his time at Close Investments / Reabourne, Jeremy was the lead fund manager on several technology funds and won the FTSE techMARK Technology Fund Manager of the Year award in 2003 and 2005.Jeremy holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics (1st class) and an MSc. in Systems Engineering from the University of Wales (1992-1996). He is also a CFA charterholder.

In 1997, he joined United Friendly Asset Management as a fund manager for European Equities. Mark joined AXA Framlington as a fund manager in June 2000.

He was appointed lead fund manager of the Global Technology Fund on 1 January 2008, and is also a fund manager on the Polar Capital Technology Trust and the Polar Capital Automation and Artificial Intelligence Fund. Nick was previously head of technology at AXA Framlington where he was lead fund manager of the AXA Framlington Global Technology Fund and the AWF Framlington Global Technology Fund between August 2001 and July 2007. Both funds were rated five stars by S&P and received several S&P and Lipper performance awards. Nick graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Economics from University of Hull.
